The Good Life

Designed a concept-focused visual identity for a conference on city and public space redesign.

Year: 2022

This is one of the projects I completed at university. Like every designer, over time, you look back at everything you've done and don't love it. And you know, that's good because it means we've evolved.

Still, I find it interesting because the project briefing was quite curious: to create the graphic identity for a conference on city redesign and public space.

Based on this, the first thing I did was develop a concept to base the communication on: to steer clear of clichés and question what elements truly make up public space. Is air or water also part of the public space of cities? How do these elements interact with each other? And how do they affect us?

From this concept, I began creating abstractions and ways to represent these elements, which were then used throughout the identity. Thus, the conference's identity itself serves as an invitation to reflect on its theme.
